At Neu Dynamics Corporation, a passion for client satisfaction and service excellence is at the core of our beliefs. Our continuous improvement initiative is not only internal and employee related, but also seeks input externally and starts from the top down.  That’s why Neu Dynamics CEO, Kevin Hartsoe, participates in bi-monthly CEO Network Groups with industry colleagues. The group is mentored and organized by Delaware Valley Industrial Resource Center (DVIRC) consultant, Harold Floyd. DVIRC is a Philadelphia-based MEP (Manufacturing Extension Partnership) – an economic development organization established in 1988. The organization is focused exclusively on the region’s manufacturing community with the goal to grow business value by providing direct services in three key areas: consulting, network groups and training/education.

The CEO Network group consists of CEO’s from Delaware Valley manufacturing businesses including: Shoemaker Welding & Machine Shop, Inc., Rebling Plastics, Precision Solutions, Inc., The Rowland Company, LTL Color Compounders LLC, Dynamics Concepts, Wm. J. Donovan Co., Mr. Shrinkwrap and Sentinel Process Systems.  Hartsoe finds this round-table interaction with other CEO’s invaluable:

 “Our roundtable discussions vary in topics covering everything from marketing, to healthcare, to employee promotions. Most executives are so busy working day to day IN their business it’s hard to find time to work ON their business. These meetings allow just that and help to hold us accountable. What customers, friends and spouses sometime don’t realize is that 99% of CEOs “live” their business and spend an extraordinary amount of time thinking about what is best for their employees and how best to serve their customers. Trading ideas with others that have had experience is a great tool to improve our companies.”

These meetings take place in the evenings and are hosted by the members at their facilities. The members each take the time to help and mentor others by trading best practices and sharing what works and what didn’t work.  Hartsoe says, “Improvement from the top down is continuous and I am honored to work with such a great group of CEOs.”
